Cannot Practice Golf And Improve The Game In Bad Weather? Says Who?

If you want to practice your golf game even when conditions are not suitable for playing, you can set up an indoor golf course. People often find it very funny to think in terms of an indoor golf course. How can you hit that booming drive over long distances when you are playing indoors?

Well, a par five course is probably going to consist of one drive, two irons and two putts. In such a scenario, what is stopping you from spending time honing your ion shots and putt shots indoors? You can always wait for spring to come around so that you can practice your drives in the open.

Of course, there are numerous ways and means to practice your game even if you cannot access the golf course. There are specific products and accessories like the ball net available in the market. As the name suggests, the net is a piece of fabric that will hold the ball even if it is hit at very high speeds.

You just have to place the net and try to aim your golf swing right into the net. This is more than enough to practice without any fear of injuring anybody even if you are working in a closed space.

In any case, all you need is a medium sized room or even a long corridor to practice your putt and irons. Remember, nine out of ten persons destroy there score by getting the putt wrong. In such a scenario, if you focus on this shot and if you get this right, chances are high that you will end up ahead of your competitors on the golf course.

The putt shot requires proper technique, stance and complete control over your shot. If you hit the ball too hard, it is probably going to overshoot the hole. If you hit the ball too softly, it is not going to go near the hole and you will end up destroying your score despite being very close to the hole.

Now, when you have a long corridor and when you have a piece of Astroturf, you can easily get on with the game and practice your shots in the greens. If you have any problems or if you feel uncomfortable, you can always imagine yourself as standing very close to the hole and trying to get the shot in the hole before your competitors catch up.
